Is there parking?

Yes, free venue parking is available for Medical Innovation attendees. You will be required to take a ticket at the barrier on arrival. Please have your ticket validated at reception on your way out so that you don’t get charged.

Is there Wifi at the venue?

Yes, there is free WiFi at the venue.

Is there a cloakroom?

Yes, the cloakroom is located in the reception area. Please note that the cloakroom is small so we ask delegates to avoid bringing large bags/suitcases where possible.

Are there disabled facilities at the event?

Yes, there is step-free access between the Conference and Exhibition, as well as disabled toilets.

Is there an ATM/cash point?

Yes, there is an ATM in the Exhibition Hall (not free of charge).

What time can I access the venue as an exhibitor to set-up my stand?

Exhibitors can access the venue for stand set-up at 1900-2100 on Monday 1 October and 0730 on Tuesday 2 October. All stands must be ready by 0800 on Tuesday 2 October. Please note you must register for an Exhibitor badge in order to gain access.


How do I collect my badge?

You can collect your badge from the registration desks at the event on presentation of official photo ID and your registration code.

What is my registration code?

Joining Instructions detailing your unique registration code was sent to the email address you used to register. If you have not received Joining Instructions please email

What photo ID should I bring?

Official photo ID is required in order to collect your badge. The following forms of ID will be accepted: passport, driving licence, national ID card or military ID/MOD 90.


Are lunch and refreshments provided?

Yes, lunch and refreshments are included as part of your booking.

Where does my badge allow me access to?

It depends on whether you registered to visit the exhibition only or not. If you registered for exhibition only access, you will not have access to the conference. If you have registered for the conference, access to the exhibition is automatically included.

Will a hard copy of the conference programme be available?

Yes, an Event Guide will be available for you to pick up. The conference programme is also on the website - Day One (Tue 1 Oct)  Day Two (Wed 3 Oct)

Is it possible to book a ticket to the conference and/or exhibition on arrival?

Yes, please ensure you bring official photo ID and a credit/debit card for payment. Event access for MOD personnel is complimentary. If possible, please register here prior to attending to reduce queuing time.

I have registered but can no longer attend. Can somebody else attend in my place?

Substitutions can be made ideally prior to the event. The substitute must be from the same company or a subsidiary of the company.  Please contact to let us know if you would like to make a substitution.

How do I obtain my CPD certificate?

CPD certificates will be emailed to conference attendees after the event. Please note that 6 CPD points will be awarded for each day of conference attendance, e.g. if you attend on one day only you will receive 6 CPD points; if you attend on both days you will receive 12 CPD points. CPD accreditation has been approved by the Defence Deanery, Defence Healthcare Education and Training.
